I just pulled the fuel gauge out of my 05 Eagle. The tube is made by VDO and is about 27 1/8" long. Do any of you guys or gals know where I can get a replacement? I remember Jack Conrad telling some one on here about the gauge he got for his coach but I can't seem to find what I did with it . Thanks in advance Ken |

The sending unit I used has no moving parts. It has an aluminum rod inside an aluminum tube and works by electrical capacitance. I used one in our bus fuel tank as well as in our generator fuel tank. The one in the bus replaced the float type that only lasted about 18 months. I am on duty today at the Fire Station, but will look for the companies website tomorrow when I get home. They are located in Meritt Island, Fla. |

Ken, I made my own digital fuel guage around one of the senders from http://www.centroidproducts.com/. I believe they are who Jack was refering to. They have electronics packages for any guage you might have. Their senders are outstandingly accurate, custom made, rugged, reliable and reasonabley priced. Regards Jerry 4107 1120 |
