Ok, i need some advice. I have the bus air unit in place. Apparently they switched everything over to 134A in 1990 and also changed compressor, etc. Looks like a good job. I'm trying to familiarize myself with it. I had it charged to 25lbs today. The evap unit in rear bay, i removed the access panel and the coils are nice and cold. I need to clean the air filter though. The previous owners apparently only have 1 vent in the bus(passenger side) for the bus air. As soon as I removed some carpet, I saw another register which was taped shut. I assume they only used the house air off the generator. Anyways, I think I may have 1 blower not blowing. Not sure, but the pass side vent blows much harder than drivers side. How do you get to the blower motors? I have no clue. Also, I'm trying to figure out the drivers A/C. Which switches need pressed at the dash? It has a drivers air switch(up/down), and a drivers blower switch(blower/defrost). What combination do I use. Drivers air up or down. Also, the blower motor is nice and high on defrost, but when I choose blower for A/C, very low speed. All help is appreciated. Thanks

PS. How many vents should I open up for the bus air? Every so many feet/ etc?

Thanks for the reply. But how do you get to the blower motor(s)? Access panel?

I "think" it's behind the wall on the last bay...believe you have to drill out pop rivets...BUT...I might be wrong...that's just a guess

At the risk of repetition, there is no substitute for a bus maintenance manual which includes many pages on the original AC setup plus body parts.

I have the bus manual, but it does not show exactly how to get to the blowers.......
