All the sills in my bays need to be cut out and new ones welded in, thanks to those "professional" Greyhound drivers. I wonder, after looking at these, just where those guys found curbs the perfect height to bash these in....on both sides!

I know I can order the sills from Rich, but am wondering if these are not also structural components. If so, would one brace the coach in some way, replace one at a time, or can we just cut them all out and weld in new?

Several years ago there was an excellent article on replacing the door sill in National Bus Trader. Someone may have saved it or you could try calling the magazine. It was one of a series of maintenance articles by a bus operator.
