Along with a GM Credit Card statement I just received was a stuffer advertising the 50th year anniversary of "Greyhounds most famous bus". To commemorate that event, they are selling a diecast metal replica, 1:50 scale, ......and wallah.... "each comes with a certificate of authenticity". The order and business reply return are addressed to Smart Shoppers Mart, 125 Armgstrong Rd, Des Plaines, Il. 60019-9510. Looks like a good price ($29.95 plus SH) and a good looking model, but whether it can be purchased outside the CC offer is up in the air...might be worth a try if one is interested. FWIW.... Speaking of model buses. Last night I could not sleep as usual and watched the Drew Carey show. One scene where he was in his kitchen you could see a model of a GMC RTS on the counter. | ||

Speaking of model buses, I just had a friend give me a model of an H3-45 Prevost, that is a beautifully made coin bank. They were supposed to have been handed out by Prevost Car Co. at some time in the past. Anyone know about them? He had worked for Prevost years ago and found it in his basement. ...JJ | ||
