Luke just has an email address, no website.

Yes, he also sells used coaches, but his main focus is parts & repairs.

But the coaches he sells are not junk!

Hi Dean & Folks:

We have been talking about a web site for a good while, which will be linked to Ian's site as well as elsewhere. And thank you Ed, I hadn't seen that before.

We are a small family owned business and do not have a huge staff of employees on board.

I had fully expected to have a site up in the first quarter of this year, as this is a slow time for us, where I can just bury myself in a project. During Feb. we lost one of our first class bus mechanics to an injury, expecting him to be back in short order. After shoulder surgery he is in worse shape than before he got hurt, and to date has not returned. (And considering the type of work be do, I will not just hire a "Body" in order to generate revenue)!!!

My Parts Manager Mike offered to pick up the tools and work in the shop, which left me to handle the parts business, that is phones, ordering, shipping and receiving etc.. (When I said we are small, I was not kidding.)

Within the last few weeks, a former excellent first class bus mechanic, ( who left to start his own vending business), has rejoined us for 3 days a week, which has freed Mike to come back full time to the parts dept. and we are playing "catch up".

As we are coming into our slower season, I am hoping to spend time on finishing the web site. But quite frankly at 62 years old, I am enjoying my weekends with my Grand Children, and getting a whole bunch of neglected yard work done.
Yes!!!!, at this age, I discovered how much I missed my kids growing up, which my wife still resents, but my kids don't, and I won't miss the Grand-Kids growing up!!!!

To make a long story short, I realize that a web-site is important and it is in the front of my mind and hopefully it will be accomplished, but in the meantime, we are blessed with a whole bunch of satisfied customers who continue to send "NEW" customers our way, for which we are most appreciative!!! I am "Blessed" with a great bunch of employees who believe in customer service. And I have decided, belatedly, that I want a life other than work!!!

Dean, we have a toll free number which is publicized here and elsewhere, or just hit on my name at the top of this post to E-Mail me.

Happy & SAFE!! Bussin' to ALL.

Luke, you play with those grandkids and don't worry so much about the site. If it happens it happens. If it don't... we'll call... and get to talk to a bussin' legend.

Ain't nothing wrong with that...

Luke,

You have a great reputation, a well trusted staff, and a history of doing right.

Many who have web sites don't come anywhere near that. And even people who approach your station in life and the bus community who have sites tell us that their sites are still under construction when we visit.

Be as happy with what you have as we are to have you as a resource. Brian said it right!

Luke:

I think that the best thing that can be done is to take care of the kids and do the best you can in business.

Your forte is not in web page design or building. Let someone else do that for you if you want.

If you don't want that to be done, find someone that can make a page with your business name, phone number, e-mail address and any other contact information on it and let that be the web page.

You are known as a person with a lot of knowledge. If you don't know about something then you can point to the person that does have the information. But you sure don't point very often guy. :-)

Take care of them kids and let the people that know what you are doing be your advertisement.

You are a Gentleman to deal with and you treat people the way that a Gentleman treats people. That in itself is GREAT advertising.

Good luck and God Bless ya' man.

This Canadian thinks Luke is great!

With or without a website.

The internet gobbles up time for some companies, with little extra revenue generated that was coming in anyway.

happy coaching!
