Hi Guys, Anyone know where ALL of the air system drains are on the scenicruiser. I regularely check the main drains in the left rear wheel well, but I am winterizing and want to make sure I havn't missed any locations where water can collect in the air system. Bus unfortunately has to sit outside this winter. She will be covered, but exposed to full force of midwest winter. Cheers, Dave PD4501-304 |

Also check the drain under the drivers compartment where the air-clutch regulator is located. |

If you use the recomended alchohol to keep the brake sustem from freezin up , you will be seeing it LEAVE out the drains. DA Book , might be a great investment? There is loads more PM maint than just draining the air tanks! FAST FRED |

Thanks guys, I forgot to mention I do regularely check the front tank by the bathroom, but have not checked up by the clutch. Fred, I have not heard of alcohol in the brake system, obviously have a lot still to learn. What book are you refering to? I did buy a complete set of manuals, and a few books on the Detroit, but very little in any of them on routine maintenance. Would appreciate any tips on where I can pull material. Cheers, Dave |

Each series of coaches made by GN has a complete book that diagrams EVERTYHING, from removing a engine or tranny , to servicing the HVAC and wiring schematics. They also have lube and PM maint charts and lists. The Senicruiser site should be able to help you find a used HARD copy. Far better than a disc copy thats difficult to read , or take/use in the coach. SA disc would still be better than nothing , but not much. FAST FRED |
