i want to use one for a backup monitor.
what tech ?? should i be looking for?

Inversion,reversion capabities are the first things I look for when surfing through electronics/monitors. Size is next because I can't read fine print without my glasses. A lot of the sellers don't specify in their ads so I email and ask.

I almost forgot, I also check for the number of video inputs since I will have 2 cameras.
This function could be overlooked since switching can be done another way.
