This isn't a bus related part but I know alot of you guys ship parts. I need to get a Ford Explorer tranmission from Wisconsin to Texas . Which company is the cheapest and the best to way to get this thing shipped .One other question ,do they have to be crated or can they just tag the trans . Thanks ---Bill 4104-4032 |

I would like to know how you would get a Trans shiped also, and I bet there would be a lot of others that would like to hear your answer also.But If you dont want us to read what you have to say then I guess It would be OK.

Well, I have a great shipper and he gives me excellent rates, but it would probably have to go thru my company account, because he's not "open to the public" so to speak.
I'd be happy to help out a few busnuts, but I don't think it prudent to publicly post his number, as he can only ship for business who have accounts set up with his corporate offices, and that takes a background check and a lot of paperwork. (homeland security laws changed everything)

Try Greyhound.....last I knew, their rates were pretty reasonable. Been some time since I used them.
