Peter, you may have to leave and come back in.
I just tried this myself and the only field that I was required to fill in was my username - the rest was filled in for me.
Then, the message appeared with my name and username highlighted as a clickable link. The link took me to my own user profile.

The only problem here might be that the board gets so fractured that only folks who KNOW what they want to learn can find it a good usefull tool.
The folks to new to actually KNOW what it is there seeking , EG general information , could end up down a blind overly specialized area.
The more open format of the origonal is probably much easier for a wanabee or new bee.
ALSO most problems are almost universal , it doesnt matter what coach is owned if somone is trying to install a marble crapper, so the info might require 3 or 4 lookups?
Overheating plages a bunch of coaches and the cures are very universal.
Doesnt sound like a great advance , yet perhaps if it gets refined the board will become as user freindly as the old one.
This fracturing was tried and failed instantly on the MAC board, will be interesting to watch how long it lasts here, on the BEST board.

As usual, FF is right on the money.
Fracturing the BB just makes it more difficult to navigate through the information.

Hi Mike,
I have stopped them for you!
To enable or disable the bbs from sending you e-mails automatically, go into your own Profile by clicking on the "Edit Profile" link on the left.
Go down to the option entitled "E-Mail Notification" and check off the box beside any of the boards from which you wish to receive e-mail. As well, if you wish NOT to receive e-mail from a selected board, de-select it by un-checking the box beside the subject board.
Either way, ensure you click on the "Save This Information" button at the bottom of this option.
