We brought our bus to Horizon Coach today. We already have 4 other buses here and have 153 registered. We always have a few show up without registering, so we are expecting about 160 coaches.

I'm a'comin! I'm a'comin!

Washing machine is doing double time to get this crew clothed for Arcadia!

"I'm not wearing that!"
"Where's my jeans? No, not those ones!"

Come on family, I WANT TO GO TO JACK'S PARTY!

Safe drive, BW. The answer to the "Where's my jeans? No, not those ones!" is to leave them in T.O. and buy new ones in U.S.A., right, Bri? :-)

In 2006, we're going to get the projects envisioned for BNO done, for sure this time. Maisie & I have a major lifestyle change coming up right around the corner and I'll have significantly different and better time to concentrate on such projects, so no excuses this time.

Have F-U-N in Arcadia and say hi to everyone for us.

Safe journey!

Thanks Ian.

Still fidgeting... lunch time approaches.....
coach is 2 hours that-a-way,
America is t'other way...
have to "move in" to the bus to blast off,
couple of plumbing connections still to be connected...
"where's the cutlery?"
"Where's my CD player?"
"I wanted that bed!"
dog went in the kennel the other day...

Am I living a country and western song?

Good thing Jack has me on the Saturday seminar schedule and not Thursday, at this rate it'll take 'til then to get out of here...

happy coaching!

BW have a safe trip bud and we'll see you there! Don't forget the Molson's!

We haven't registered but we will be there! Wasn't sure whether we would get the kitchen done enough but it looks like we will get enough done to travel that far anyway, and the fact that I was very sick up to and including Christmas which set us back a few days!
Feeling a little better now and looking forward to getting down there, to relax!

Well, Ya'll have a wonderfull time. I can feel the excitement building, even in these messages as the magical time comes nearer for the unity of the buss'n community.

What a wonderful time to be had when all can get to gether and enjoy each others companion ship and the shows and seminars and oh what ever can we come up with. What a wonderful time.

Sorry to say, I will be on the way down to florida, for a short stay at my favorite campground, Disney's FortWilderness, just about the time Buss'n2006 is closing its doors and the last bus is rolling on to find other destinations.

I will be there in spirit, and perhaps next year, I will be there for real.

I love the feel of the building magic and I can feel it in the messages coming to the board. Welcome you all to one magical and wonderful affair. You'll not be able to wipe that smile off your face for quite awhile. WONDERFUL

Drive safely and have a fantastic time

Jack always parks me in either a hole or across a ditch. I don't think he likes my garbage scow?

Something about having my right front 8 inches lower than the left.:-)

Just Kidding...:-)

I won't get on the road until Thursday morning now but its only 150 miles so I should be there before o-dark thirty...

Hey, FF and Ace... just so you know, the hand-out schedule at Bussin' 2006 shows no fish fry at all. The schedule column for Friday says "BBQ Pork Dinner" and Saturday's says "Pizza Party".

Hi folks,

Guess who just left our place in beautiful downtown Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada???

Buswarrior stopped in to say hi to Maisie & me and pick up a box of world famous BNO tee shirts!

Ewen has his wife, two daughters and one son packed into his MC-9 and they're starting to make their way down to Arcadia now, stopping in Erie PA tonight. They'll likely show up at Horizon Coach late Thursday or early Friday with any luck.

Anyhoo, thought you'd enjoy a couple of pictures of his bus with about 9" of snow on it. The little face in the 3rd pic is Brianne. The last pic is Ewen, Lisa and Maisie.

Safe drive, Ewen, wherever you are!!!

All,

Please click the link to Bussin' 2006 in the left navigation bar, go about 1/4 of the way down the page to where it says "Printable Seminar & Event Schedule:" and print yourself an official copy sanctioned by the organizers.

To be clear, it never included a fish meal.

Have fun!

The first page for Bussin' 2006 (after you click on Ian's link) says fish, but the schedule says BBQ. When I see Jack or Paula, I'll ask. Unless he sees this first and posts an answer.

I just got a cance to get online. The flyer for Bussin' 2006 is incorrect. The schedule is correct. The meals are as follows: Thursday evening Ice Cream Social/Get Aquainted Party with Root Beer Floats and Entertainment by Travis Golden (AKA Happy Camper). Friday evening is a BBQ Pork Dinner and entertainment by Crazy Carol (back by popular demand). Saturday evening (New Years Eve) will be a Pizza party followed by The BusStop Bluegrass Band. We had to make the change because the person who made the catfish dinners is no longer in business. Jack

Kowabunga and greetings from a satelite thingy in Arcadia!!!

Thanks to our great onsite Dustyfoot representative Tom Mason, I am online here in the dying throes of Busin' 2006.

Weather has been great, Jack's order for sunny weather was filled.

I need one of these satelite thingies for my coach.

Ian, Ace owes you for two T-shirts, I was too afraid to ask for some cash. He says you'll understand....?

I really don't want to go home, too nice down here.

I'll be back online next weekend sometime.

Great to spend time with all these good folks that only get to communicate through a keyboard the rest of the year!

happy coaching!

Yea I@N and I got them on the very last day when nobody was around and most all busses were already headed home. I had all intentions of advertising for you because I know that is what you would have wanted!. I wore one anyway and even had one guy ask me where I got it! I looked all over for BW to make a sale but, he moved his bus somewhere inside instead of the field he was parked in. Oh well, if I need to send you a check, just let me know! :-)

Ace, ol' boy, I know your intentions were pure, my friend, and I appreciate you wearing the gang colours, so I'll just keep on looking in my mail for your previously mentioned "something" you're sending along. Maybe, just maybe, there won't be a need to send a cheque anywhere!! My fingers are crossed.

Besides, cashing a US dollar cheque no longer evokes the same thrill it used to
a couple of years ago :~)

I'll keep you posted!

Marc, No secret!

Linda, Susan looked in her song book and found the song. Said it looks pretty fast but she will give it a try and hopefully won't mess you up too bad when and if she DOES learn it!

Had a GREAT time and as I type here I look out the window and see that there are still about 35 coaches here. We will pull out sometime this afternoon and make that dreaded 1.5 hour trip home! You just have to hate that part! I know I do!

Later...

We got home about 5pm est after stopping at Perkins in Bartow for dinner. Hooked up the 50 amp cable, the Sat dish, the water hose, and walked the dog. Went to go inside and found a mess. A small flood! No biggie, but it looks like we are still in the bus for another night or two. Dang I feel bad about that! LOL
Anyway, we had to go to wally world for some items we found we didn't have from the trip and 168 bucks later and a few walks from car to bus (they always use one item per bag it seems) we are about to settle in for the night! Susan did some of the laundry and started a jig saw puzzle. Me, well I'm here typing to tell you guys that you had to miss one of the best rallies I have ever been to. I met the most nicest guys and gals ever. Some I have only typed to and some I have never heard of or seen before. EVERY one of you deserve a pat on the back for not only being the friendliest but to open your coach/s for me and others to view. New Years Eve brought many laughs and many pictures that I'm not too sure some would be allowed to post but I DO know that fun was had by everyone! I don't know which is worse. Canadians or Ohio'ns! I met this one lady (from Ohio) who really cracked me up and I blamed it on the alky but heck, the next day, she was just as bad or good, whichever it was!
I also want to thank Butch and Brenni from the Bustop Bluegrass band. They surpried Susan with asking her to perform on stage with them for a song of her choice which turned into 3 songs. 2 not so bad but one she didn't know, but it gave her such a big head, she couldn't sleep! You have to remember, she has only been playing the fiddle for about 5 months after a very lengthy lay off since childhood!
Ewan and his wife were there and after meeting his wife I must say that she has to be one of the sweetest ladies on earth and has her hands very full!
As always, Jackie and Dwayne, who spent time with us when almost everyone had left. It was fun listening to Dwayne and Susan playing thier instruments.

Jack and Paula did a superb job meeting and greeting as did the parking crew of Bill and Brenda who seem to never stop working!

I gotta say before I leave that this one guy that spent time with Susan and I really made the trip worthwhile. Alan and his dog Paco! He had a friend (Chet) of his meet him there who was driving a truck. A REAL musician who didn't hestitate to help with playing tips! He could play anything you handed him except the harmonica and I'm not too sure he do some of that while there! Right Alan? Anyway, it was a real pleasure having those guys over for lunch and dinner AND the use of Alan's scooter. We were able to tour Arcadia and the antique shops.
SO many people were met and so few words to express NOW of how great it felt to be a part of them and the rally!
If you didn't make it, you really did miss a good time!
Looking forward to next year already and before I forget, Thanks to all the volunteers and Sponsors! Without you guys, it would probably still be JUST an idea!
To those of you that I met and can't remember ONLY because it's midnight, it was OUR pleasure!!

Ace & Susan
