My newly bought 68 05 eagle seems to be slipping in the higher gears when it comes nessacary to down shift..... like when I step on the gas looking for more power The RPM seems to race a little.... is this a sign of sliping or please tell me it means its time to down shift.... I fear slipping and the need to repair or replace the clutch.... and if so, is this something I can do, I have the parts and survace manuals to the bus.... would build a pit if I have to, buy the tools, or is this something I have to pay someone with years of training to do???
thanks

any one with years of training coming throught Va any time soon????
