Hi all. and Happy New Year. I aam in a tt campground in Menifee Ca. and a fellow bus nut,in the campground, with an 05 Eagle has a problem. in regular use his brakes and brakelights work fine. however when he has to use them hard, the brake lights won't go out. they stay on until he bleeds the line to the brake light switch. any ideas. come on guys, I assured him someone on this board would have the right answer. thanks in advance

upon release of the brake pedal all of the air pressure should bleed out of the line going to the switch. This must not be happening since bleeding the line turns the switch off. I would suspect the problem to be in the foot valve or one of the quick release valves. Chris

Sounds like the quick release valve. If you want to replce the part, you can get parts at Colton Truck Supply. You are located just off the I215. Go north past the I10 get off at Inland Center Dr. Exit. Parts desk is 1-800-426-4644.

Good Luck

PS

I pick up my bus just around the corner where you are.

Try pulling up on the brake pedal. sounds crazy and simple but sometimes it sticks and needs some penetrating oil on hinge good luck
