My neighbor here in Ft. Myers, recently bought a couple of water filters at a yard sale. They weren't in the original packages, but looked clean. Shortly after insalling them his family became violently ill, and were rushed to Lee Mem. Hosp. They finally traced it to the filters, which had been accidently contaminated with pesticide.
Moral: Don't buy potable water filters unless they are in unbroken, sealed packages.

Cheers...JJ

Ooops?

It's almost a "no-brainer", John.

What in Gawd's name has happened to "common sense"?

Folks are trading it for PRICE and CONVENIENCE.

Why think when others will do it for you. LOL.

I used to think us Hillbillies had the most common sense, But as the foreigners migrate here to retire I can see a big difference. I guess it's an airbourne virus

Some of it's bacteridiotlogical, too; travels on the surface,
destroying everything in it's path...

I almost got run over in the crosswalk by a "northerner", until
I gave him the finger, indicating I was one of -them-.

"If ya' can't beat 'em, use a gun."
