Jerry, after you start getting some posts in telling you the cost of rebuilding a HT-740 look at what I listed on the market this BBS. Thanks Ray |

Jerry, the labor of taking it out and putting it back in depends on shop rate and experince of who's doing it. We usually take and exchange them for a remanufactered unit from reliabuilt about $7500 plus labor at my shop around $500. I have put used ones in for customers labor running the same and they have picked them up anywhere from $1500 to $3500 and so far never had to change 1 twice in the same bus. That being said depending on yer situation, and the amount of miles you put on the coach used maybe the way to go! When I say we usually replace with the reliabilt, I'm talking about my dad's charter bus company and also a friends charter bus company we do work for. Like I said we've had good success with the used ones we've installed, but I leave it to the customer to decide and if they go used I let them find the 1 they want. |
