Hi folks,

In an effort to streamline the web site some, I am developing a new home page with a completely re-formatted look.

As a result, instead of there being 14 destinations within the site, there will only be 7. As a result, some of the sections that appear elsewhere on the site are now collected here on the bulletin board system, including the new "Buses for Sale" section which is online now.

As you have likely noticed, the face of the bbs has changed and now includes new sections for the "Articles of Interest" and "Arnie's Articles" sections.

As you know, Arnie Smith was a founding member of World of Bus Nuts (WoBN) and, a number of years ago, asked that BNO continue to present its interests in this hobby. To that end, BNO still proudly attaches the WoBN acronym to our Flea Market. Arnie wrote 8 articles that have appeared on this site for many years. They are very fundamental articles of benefit, mostly, to the novice or wannabe converter.

There are now 33 "Articles of Interest" with several in production. We always welcome new material and if you are kind enough to offer the hobby some of your wisdom and experience, we promise you a place on BNO in perpetuity. I was asked by an author of two articles today if anyone reads these articles. In 2005, each of his articles were read by over 2,000 viewers. If you think no one's watching, rest assured, members of our hobby are still v-e-r-y interested in what others have to offer.

Stay tuned, folks, for these new sections to become populated with their appropriate information. The "Buses for Sale" section will fill up once I do an audit of the current buses for sale to see if there are some that are sold that didn't report to us.

I'll keep you updated as changes are made.

Enjoy :~)

Thanks, Ian

I surf all the boards, but yours is by far the best because of the SEARCH feature for the archives. I have the BOARD bookmarked on my computer, so I always come to the board index page first. I never go to the home page. I would be more apt to look at buses, articles, and such if I could navigate from this index page, just because there are less "pages" to click through. I think going from 14 to 7 is better. Sometimes, less is more.

Ian as you well know I'm new to this site. but since having checked it out I booked marked it and check it at least daily, sometimes more if things in the shop are slow! I love it and believe you and everyone else on the board are great people (even if you do have the dreaded "bus love disease" LOL)it's a contagious hobby I know and I don't even have a "conversion" yet as dad won't let me take one of his charter buses an convert it! Keep up the great work, if I can ever be of help to any of ya PLEASE don't hesitate to call on us! We don't have the experince of doing conversions (I'd love to some day) but we can help with KEEPIN 'em ROLLIN' Have a great day!
