I made this for another forum I frequent for video editing and motion graphics hobbyists and pros. I'm writing a tutorial for the forum on how to do a moving "trail" on a map that shows up a few times in this video. But since it's stars my bus and my family on our trip out west last summer, I thought you guys might get a kick out of it, too. 3 minutes, 10MB or so: http://www.brownland.org/video/western05_intro.wmv And if you have a LOT of time to kill, you can read more than you ever would care to about this trip here: http://www.brownland.org/travel/western05/cover.htm Enjoy, Brian Brown PD4106-1175 Longmont, CO Bus Wesite (under construction): http://www.brownland.org/bus/ |

That's great Brian, That's a super way to spend time with the family. Cherish every second with those youngsters, it's gonna fly by too fast. BTDT. Don't you just love Circus Circus. I can't wait to take the Grandkids to Disney and watch their faces. Dale |

A fine job with the video recording your family trip by coach. A favorite saying at our house was "tomorrow's memories are being made today". The video will become even more precious through the years. Keep up the special family (and bus) times! |

Cool, Nice family fun Brian! When you were headed west on I 80 around Elk Mountain, Wyoming you were driving on my great grandfather J.A. Jackson ranch. The ZN Ranch. I-80 turn south on road 130 5 miles to Rattlesnake Rd. Turn left to a sigh with the brand ZN ranch. I-80 runs across Township 19N range 83W sections 1,2,3,4. If you guys ever want to take a look at a 16,000 acre working cattle ranch in the fall its time to cut, rake and bale hay, could always use some help. We put up some 5500 tons last year. The hike to the top of Elk Mountain is a nice view for sure. Its been in my family since 1865. I have old tin pictures of my people chopping sage brush with ox pulling a covered wagons and living in dug outs in the ground. The ZN was a pony express stop for a fresh fast horse on the Overland trail. I dont live there I live in So. Tx. But, we return there every summer for hard work and to be in the middle of no where for the piece of mind to clear our heads. They are in need of oil field hands bad. Sign on of up to $10,000 for a good directional driller. Warning, if you stop by they will try to put you all to work. Well again your trip was well done. and I got to get out and install the new steering box and the new collumn and wheel, busnut Ray sent me. Steve at cajuncoasters@direcway.com |
