To whom it may concern:
A year ago I purchased from Camping World a Carbon monoxide, propane and methane detector for the interior of my bus. It was 12 volt and cost
$50.00. Several days ago I was lucky enough to be in the bus when the detector caught on fire. I was able to cut the wire and get the thing outside, but not before it stunk up the inside of the bus very bad. I sent the faulty unit to Family Safty Products Inc in Alabama but it was returned to me unopened. I assume they are not in business any more. The unit is a 12 volt. model HS80124. If you have such a unit I would recommend a quick trip to the trash can with it.
We are still trying to get rid of the oder.It was called "The Silent Siren".
