Since the floor in my MCI 8 is sloped 4inches front to back (rising to the rear) it was a challenge to get walls plum and cabinets level. so what I did was mark each sheet of plywood at the bottom edge of the original window sill as I hung it on walls. then I struck a line from front to rear on each side. I used it for my reference point. measuring up or down from line as needed to level cabinets. For pluming walls and getting them square I located the original virtical post that supported the roof on both sides and front and rear. strung a line across or a good strait edge to get measurements front to rear to get walls square to outside walls and also plum. For getting end of wall plum I measured to center of floor and center of center roof support running front to rear strung a line between those two points to measure from. May not be best way or totaly acurate but was best way I could come up with to get reasonably close. |

Ron On my MCI 8 I just mounted the walls square with the ceiling and set everything else on the floor...Has caused only one problem and alot easier...The problem is that I have a little water left in the shower base after a using it...No biggie in my book and when parked I just level the bus so the counter tops are level...
