The coach I am going to look at has a ZF 4HP600 automatic tranny. It is a four speed and that is all I know.

I can't find any info on the web about this tranny and ZF's website doesn't go back to 1986.

Does anyone know the pros and cons of this tranny especially as compared to an Allison of the same vintage? Anyone know if it has overdrive?

It was recently rebuilt so that is good.

Brian i only have dealt with ZF's in boats. BULLET PROOF, (not idiot proof) Try charter companies.
