If I need to get on the roof of my Eagle coach to work on an a/c, how could I safely be on the roof without damaging it? When I had a travel trailer, I used a 4x8 sheet of plywood as a platform to span across the roof rafters. Thanks for the info. |

You are not going to hurt the roof to walk on it. Every where you see a rivet on the roof there is framing underneath and these are fairly close together. As long as you stay close to these you will not have any problems. Depending on your size, you will not have any problems anywhere on the roof. I am 185 lbs and have been everywhere on mine without any movement of the roof. Tom Hamrick 1984 Eagle 10S |

Speaking of safety, I got a hunter's harness that I'll tie off thru a hatch for ridiculous levels of safety. Haven't tried it yet, and way overkill I'm sure, but I sho don't need any downtime. It may turn out to be way too much trouble. |
