Has anyone else noticed 4-5 holes about 1/4" in diameter on the floor of the right rear Electrical Panel compartment in a 4104?

I've had the bus since August but never noticed the holes because there was so much crud on the floor. My guess is that they are drain holes because there are no holes at the top as would be the case if they were vents.

Anyone know anything about this?

Gus, I checked on our 04 #728, a 1953 and it does not have any small holes only a 1 1/4 hole with a weep ruber boot, but some small things changed on the 04 thruout the years of prod, hope this helps, maybe small spots of crosion from salt kicked up from rear duals. Bill Murray

Bill,

These are clearly drilled holes and are uniformly spaced. There is also a large hole as you describe that appears to have rubber inside it. I didn't look underneath but it must be the same as you describe. It appears to be clogged but I didn't look closely.

The floor was covered with some type of undercoat which I scraped off and found the holes.

My s/n is 1274 and it is a '54.
