I have not found the right size tank for combo grey/black and am considering just making one. Probably cost the same by the time I'm finished, but It will fit the space that I have to work with. Would like to hear pros, cons of someone that's been there, done that. Thanks |

Look at Gumpydog's site for construction with plastic via hot air welding. I picked up a Lister hot air welder with a speed tip on the auction site real reasonable. |

Hey Bruce, Go to articles of interest on the Busnut home page. George Meyers talks about it in detail. |

Bruce, I made mine out of 3/8" polypropylene according to http://www.gumpydog.com/bus/MC9_WIP/Plumbing/Holding_Tank_Fabrication/holding_tank_fabrica tion.htm I used a temperature controlled heat gun and a soldering iron for tack welding. The results are very nice & fit just where I wanted them. Regards Jerry 4107 1120 |

I also used the tried and tested Gumpy method, and I used one of those cheap ebay auction plastic welders that was only 28 dollars, but I did buy the fancy speed tip that was 80 bucks, but it was worth its weight in gold..........Pat http://prevostlemirage.blogspot.com/ |
