They moved it into the message board. Hit "BNO BBS" above, then "BUSES FOR SALE".

I know a lot of those listings on the old page were there for quite a while. I've been lurking here for quite a while before I started posting, and I never saw any changes, or at least I never noticed. :-)

I was able to find it through Google's caches, but they've updated recently. If you're really bent on seeing the old listings, you can use http://archive.org to see older versions of most popular sites (yes, including busnut.com). Remember though, those are old listings, so it's perfectly likely that you'll be calling someone who sold a year ago.

The listing with the the '80 RTS sitting in a field got me started liking the RTS's. That was ... damn .. like two years ago? Then I went through all the various options. What's the best bus for me? I was kinda fond of the '58 Eagle listed in there too, but the broken upper window and debris inside concerned me. It looks like it smells musty.

Post what kind of bus you're looking for. Folks here know a lot of places to look.

I lurked on eBay and Craigslist for a while, looking at options and prices. Read the threads, I've been posting as my drama unfolds. I finally got mine on eBay this morning!

Where did the coaches go is a really good question.

When I look in the FMCA mag where there used to be dozens of conversion listings , there is only a few.

The number in National Bus Traider is down by 2/3 from past offerings.

Yet folks claim bus prices are lousey.

Seems there is an abundance of cheap fixer uppers , never maintained Church busses , and as always scrap transits.

But where is the supply of good finished conversions that are claimed to be glutting the market?

There were six (6) of them in the RV trader mag. (Fl.). When
the RV Dealers are having trouble selling big motorhomes,
does anyone really think their backyard variety will sell
quickly, and for more?

No matter what anyone's expertise is, if it doesn't carry
a commercial name, it's a "home brew"; it's backyard built,
in anyone else's mind.

Yes!!! Where have all the BNO buses for sale gone? When I click on the busses for sale I only get two busses. There used to be many busses in all price ranges.

Mark,

As said, I moved the section to this bulletin board system.

Before I did so, of coure, I emailed everyone who still had ads appearing (about 80 or so) and asked them to confirm their listing with me via return email or lose the ad.

I didn't have a response from anyone before I left for a 2 week educational opportunity/vacation which I am still enjoying with my wife.

A few people have now responded but I am not at the office to do anything with the site.

This weekend when we come home, I will be going through the old ads and calling each one by phone to ensure the ad can, indeed, be deleted.

There are, I believe, 2 pending that have been paid for but I didn't have time to upload before I went on vacation.

I am in the middle of rolling out a new look to the web site and slowly converting the entire 100+ pages to the new format. You can see a non-working example of the new home page at www.busnut.com/109.html to get an idea of where I'm going with this project.

You can start enjoying updates very shortly.
