I would like to thank Ian for making this board possible and others for posting your experiences. I do not post much but I found most of the information I needed to complete our bus conversion here on this board. Here are some pictures of the project 1964 4106 http://www.extremefamily.com/buildingthebus.htm hats off to you! Thanks again The extremefamily |

Very nicely done. Congratulations. I find this board really interesting. I visit it every day. It's a great source of information for me and has helped me avoid a number of pitfalls. Thanks to Ian for hosting it and to all who contribute to it. DaveD |

Well done & congratulations. I am trying to talk/convince/BEG my fiance' to not buy a house here in Wash, DC (you know, close to your old Langley, VA headquarters) and to take off in the bus. My kids reside in another state, so it would just be the tow of us & her two cats (hairy little princesses - the hair makes me crazy, particularly in my coach!!) and the MCI. She calls me an "outside of the beltway Bus Driver" even though a live a few blocks from George W down here on Penn Ave. Go figure. See you out on the highways!! Hey extreme family - nice job on that bus. I was in Tillamook with the kids for outdoor school in 2004 and looked at your bus when it was for sale. (A busnut seems to be drawn to a bus for sale like a moth to flame). Nice job on the remodel! Craig - MC7 Oregon |

Wow... I just got lost in your travel pics.. Great stuff! It looks like you're a couple years ahead of me, but maybe we'll bump into each other, once we're on the road too.. |

Reminder to self: check BNO every day or you will miss great stories like this! Trying to get away from this *&^$# computer and work on the coach, but thought I'd better check in because it's been a few days. Sure glad I didn't miss this one, Jim. Thanks for letting us know. Great cabinetry, btw! |

Simply amazing! Saw your conversion pics it looks like a replay of what I did 2 years ago. Same technique same components same labor of love. What an amazing and talented family. Sounds like you are in the San Jose area (where I lived last year), I'm now in southern California near Joshua Tree National Park. Should you wander in that direction stop by I have a docking station for you guys. Today I'm docked in Morgan Hill, CA waiting for my son to come in from Portland, OR so we can find him a college. |
