Last year I was in Amsterdam and took some picutres of what I thought at the time were interesting buses. Any can look at or copy them by going to this link, and looking at the european bus gallery.

Of note were the double decker Van Hools, and the 24th bus in the gallery, the small bus with the funny name.

Very interesting designs and graphics.

I had lost count when I ran into the funny one.

I almost fell over in my chair, That is just too funny.

Thanks

I thing I saw that was interesting was the 1st bay, behind the front wheels, had a window in it with a bed setup for sleeping quarters for a 2nd driver...looked factory

I saw lots of mid 80's to late 90's MCI's running around Taiwan . And some new local made buses very cool looking . All left hand drive like here. Too bad our inport laws are so stupid and you can not import em here.

A Taiwanese trailway company imported hundreds of new MC9s since 1979...and bunch 96A3s and DLs over the years. According to MCI's official page, Taiwan, a tiny island 1/3 the size of Virgina, is the only country outside NA operating large number of MCIs.

BTW, was in Belitz this past summer.., saw tons of old over due retired MC8s and 9s running around hauling tourests came off cruise ships. Actually drove pass at least 2 bone yards full of (around 50 each) dead MCI8s 9s. Wondering how did they get down there? Cause most running MC8 and 9s were smoking bad. The 9 (with DL kit) I was on had no suspension to speak of, I could feel the trailing arm bushings were all gone....the worst shape MCI I've ever been on.
