Remember: Our hobby, life style, passion, etc. is going to attract persons, thoughts, ideas, nay sayers and know it alls. Most of us have thick skins. Some of us get our feelings hurt. We all need to remember that we are playing in the same sandbox. John Lennon: Why can't we all get along? I learn from most everything I read here and other boards. I mostly lurk and save diamonds to 'My Favorites'. Sometimes I get mad and leave for a day. More often than not I just try to 'consider the source'. We all have one. |

Actually, it was Rodney King that said: "Why can't we all get along?" John Lennon said: "Why don't we do it in the road?" |

Yes, and it ws Hilary Clinton that used the African phrase "It Takes A Village" (to raise a child). I take the opposite view, that we busnuts are a "family", and the bus conversion family is who helps us with our hobby. If anything, the "village" is our neighbors who may not like us around! --Geoff '82 RTS AZ |

AKw AK AKKK aaakkk -I though The president of the United States of America (Jack Nicholson in MAR'S ATTACKS) was the first to coin the old saying "Can't we all just get along hear". Just kidding, it is a expression from a time before the monkeys started to talk as there is nothing under the sun that ain't "Being" said or thought before. So much for nostalgia and egos. As the consensus appears to be "we are but a village here" and I have such thick reptilian skin in my genes , I call dibs on the VILLAGE IDOIT position. Sorry MCJ9.my friend; but first come first self served . I am just here for the truthful and free exchange of information; the love & friendship and potential to communalize our notions on recycled mobile exploration habitats beeee just bonus tributes to Sir Ian's (the divine wind blows) wonderful sense of communality and cooperation, I believe??? No doubt something we can display as a good example for those we visit to observe in our exploration of this hemisphere (barring a Alaska land Bridge opening up in the life time of our hobby! |

But hey don't be sad my freind, even I need days off and can't be silly all the time, so there is always room to out-improve me and share the coveted title if you like. |

I'd like to think that we are putting the FUN back in dysfunctional here in our busnut family! I think it is great that we offer differing opinions and approaches to each other. The good news is that there is no one right choice. Doing a project as big as a bus conversion invariably is a collection of trade offs in design decisions to fit the final product into the cubic dollars available. Depending on the owners budget and goals, having different points of view offered is great. At the end of the day it is up to each of us to decide what we will do (and be accountable for!). Thanks to all that offer opinions, especially those that differ from the ones I have! Craig - MC7 Oregon |

Me concurs! And if I am proven wrong about a currently held belief/notion or otherwise outdated technological data, well then I am truly in my heaven for that moment!Fun makes learning so much easier to recall when the pressure is on too. That was one of the many mistakes made on the Manhattan Project if I recollect |
