Thank you everyone who helped on the transmission checking. Home from trip and the tranny took over a gallon of oil. I did lots of stopping and checking. I am sure you saved my tranny and thank you all very much, it will be checked the rite way very often from now on. P8M4905A831 Larry |

Glad you had a uneventful trip, Larry. Keep an eye on that level.
A gallon of oil seems like a lot... I'm told that Allisons are meant to a closed systems, and don't use up any of the fluid. So you should verify that you don't have a sizable leak somewhere.
