I need a radiator for my 87 flx metro w/ 6V71 engine. I got a quote from Nimco Busses in NJ for $350 plus $120 shipping. The radiator is used and came out of a flx with a 6V92 so it is a bit larger. The salesman says it will fit with minimal modification to the shroud, any other idea or personal experence using a bigger radiator? Also, does that price sound fair?

A new one for an 8v-71 was about $1000 4 years ago and that was before copper and Al went way up in price. That is probably not a bad price for a good used one based on the high cost of metal.

With that big rad. your ready for the 65 or 70 injector.
