I just bought a 1990 MCI 9. It was a prison transport bus. I am just wondering where I might go for detailed specifications on this bus - as I understand MCI quit making the MCI 9 in 1987. I guess mine was a special order. I am trying to get the service manual, but am not sure which one will have my bus included. |

Check on ebay - some people are reprinting the manuals and selling them on there (and sometimes you can actually find the original). Expect to pay more than you might be used to paying for car manuals, the bus has a bit more moving parts. I paid about $150 for service and parts manuals for the 102A3, and it's about 20" thick. |

find out where the bus was used and ask where they repair work on it was done , then contact the shop and see if they will give you the manuals and also ask what parts that they may have that are surplus to them and you may get a bunch cheap as they might have had only one bus of this type or yours was their last , well worth the effor at times. |
