I have a problem with the gear position indicator on my shift lever for the HT740 transmission. Does anyone have a parts manual that shows what can be replaced in order to make the indicator show the correct gear position? The indicator sticks and does not show what the actual gear is (when indicator shows 4th it is in 3rd).
I got the parts and service manual some time ago on eBay. These manuals are huge and I thought everything was there. As is typical of my luck the only section of the parts manual that is missing is the one that covers the automatic transmission.
