I may be going to look at an ex-commuter 1980 Prevost LeMirage in the next few days. Are there any particular areas of concern which should be checked on the Prevost vs the MCI (I currently have an MCI)
Thanks

Tim, if it was an east coast transit, it was probably rode hard and put up wet! I have one, unless you have tons of money or are capable of doing a lot of the repairs yourself I would be careful! Bus air conditioning probably did the most damage, more than the weather, chassis rails along the floor on both sides paid the price, they probably are in bad shape left side more then the passenger side. Other than that, it would be like any other 20+ year old bus, lots of work! This is my site, I haven't kept it up but there are plenty of pictures of a 20 year old Prevost!

Thanks Ron and Pat...You are just the ones I was hoping to get comments from...
It is a 1980 LeMirage located in Vancouver, BC. It spent a few years back East and then came west. Rebuilt 8V71, 5 spd. Frame, etc inspected by Western Bus in Vancouver 4 years ago. Any work required at that time was done. He supposedly has all documentation to back this up.
Pat...I have been checking your website for quite a while now and have been very impressed with what you have done. I was checking it out this morning for any ideas before I posted.
Thanks again...Tim
