Will probably have to call Prevost Jacksonville monday - But - Was checking my Group 31's before hopefully heading out - when I pulled the battery slide out it only came half way - one of the side slides appears to be hung up - the battery compartment is completely enclosed by bulkhead so I can't see very far back - it slides fine then just hangs up on one side - Any ideas of what it is or how I can get in the compartment? - Thanks in advance - Niles

Hey Niles make sure you check the cables and see if they aren't holding it from comingout! Mine did that once and I had to tie wrap them to each other so they wouldn't rise up once they went in!

If it's not the cables, then.....

One can of "Power Blaster" (walmart, auto stores, etc) and
shoot the stream -into- the slider mechanism at each side.
You'd want to totally saturate the slider and the wheels inside
the slider. Work the slider in and out, and it should work free.

I'll predict that it's a cable that got loose from a cable tie. Once it hangs down and bends it gets a memory for that position. You might try a wooden stick or dowel to reach in and lift as you slide the tray out. Once out, as Ace says, re-cable tie to the others.

Let us know what you find out.
