The air does not work in the bus previous owner tried to upgrade with newer gas and destroyed all the lines.most likely will take the bus air out so this condenser will likely be useless? does it have any value?buss fool |

Chuck - "this condenser will likely be useless? does it have any value?" Yes, it does have value, as does all the materials you remove during conversion. Copper (in that AC condenser) is worth decent cash. There's been problems down here in Florida, with thieves stealing AC units and home wiring for the value in copper! Check with your local salvage yard for prices and stipulations. Don't make the same mistake I did, and toss it in a dumpster. (well... I'm on rented land, and had little choice) |

Hello busfool If the condenser is good, and you can find a commercial operator still running MC9's, you might want to offer it to them, and the compressor too. You never know when a relationship with the local coach company might come in handy. Otherwise, off to the scrapper, there's a lot of metal in there! happy coaching! buswarrior |

I would take it to the scrap yard. The price of copper is sky high right now. I am doing some wiring on my house and about passed out when I saw the price of Romex and THHN. |
