I found a post in the archives from Gary Stadler about getting a radiator rebuild from Larry Foster at Discount Radiators in New York. Gary wrote a glowing review about his experience. The link is below:

Anyone else try this? I'm thinking about doing it on my Eagle 10. I want some success. I'm tired of fighting high engine temperatures. Someone please jump in with another updated review. Gary, you out there??

David,
We will get our bus back tomorrow or Tuesday and I'll let you know how much difference the new radiator on our Eagle 10 has made. I have been really impressed with Tom at Denver Radiator...this guy knows his stuff. I went and looked at my core at his shop after S&S had taken it out and sent it to him...the part I could normally see had a little corrostion...the fan side was a mess...lots of corrosion, top & bottom tanks unusable, side rails rusted beyond use. I got the top & bottom tank & side rails from Jefferson in OKC. Let me know if you need any information.
Happy Trails,
Brent

David,
Just went to Denver Radiator to checkout my new radiator. Tom at Denver radiator said that my old core(original to the bus) was a 5 row-3/4" tubes and the new Technology core is 8 row-1/2" tubes. Thought you might want to know when specing your radiator.

Brent

That is what I have now, a 5 row 3/4. That is OEM for most 05's and 10's. It cannot do the job in Colorado or any hill when the ambient temps are above 90 degrees. I know from experience. I had mine cleaned and rodded 18 months ago in a truck radiator shop in San Antonio. They said it was only 5% blocked when it came in and looked almost new. There was no change after rodding and cleaning.

Brent, if you get this in and test it on I-70 west up to the Eisenhower tunnel in your 100 degree weather you have been having and it keeps the temps below 190 then you you may have hit the jackpot. What mill do you have? I'm running a 6v92 and last week could not run any big hills or passes without lots of misting water. I run the big passes usually in 1st gear at 1950 rpm at about 28mph. I always try to keep the rpm's above 1800.

David,
Unfortunately, we will be heading east toward Missouri...but we will have the 15KW Kubota generator(which is plumbed into the bus radiator) on and we have a 740 Allison that utilizes the bus radiator. The bus has an 8V71.

Brent,

How much did it cost for the Denver shop to upgrade those tubes? Also, could you give me Tom's phone number? I'll give him a call.

David,
$2700 for new core and put into frame...they had to build a couple of pieces out of flat stock...they had originally quoted me $2300.
