well i tried the putty scraper, the razor blade, hard plastic scraper, windex, wd/40, soap. heat, soft wire wheel and nothing worked worth a darn. then i went to a paint supply place in Nanaino and the fellow gave the same things to try and as i was leaving a Lady about 45 stoped me and said if you want to remove pin strip get the eraser wheel,an old single speed 3/8 drillwith a plastic body so as not to scratch any other parts, use a mid quality drill not a good one as when you use it you want to know when it starts to heat upthen stop and let it and the wheel cool off, be sure that you use very light presure with the wheel as to much presure causes the pin striping to turn to melted goo, allways feed the pin striping in to the wheel with the wheel spitting out the front as you travel down the stripe Never go back and forth as it. heats the wheel and you get goo again. it is best to do in the shade and on the cool side out of the sun. it took me 2 1/2 days to do 1/2 of one side this morning i did the rest of that side and the other side in 4 1/2 hours and no sore arms and elrows. but then this method sure worked for me and you might like to try it when you have some to remove. rember it is better to make 3-4 light passes than trying one hard one as slow and easy seems to be the answer.
