looking to find out whatever i can about 57 gmc4104-#1214.i just paid a deposit on this bus,and wiil be the proud new owner of this classic in a few more days,and hopefully be able to travel to pick it up and bring her home within a couple of weeks.any info i could get on this bus would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks-chris |

PD4104-1214 From GMC to Missouri Pacific Transportation Company St louis,MO. FYI it's a 1954 model PD4104 not a 1957. jlv |

PD4104-1214 was delivered in June 1954 to Missouri Pacific Transportation Company of St. Louis, Missouri with fleet number 946. |

bob,no, it's not the red/white one that just sold on ebay,however i did see that bus,but after talking with the guy that owned it,he said he didn't have a title for it.just a bill of sale.steve,are you guys sure it is a 1954? i am buying it from a fellow busnut.he said it was a 1957,not that it matters.i'll go through with the purchase anyway.the bus is a clean shell with everything(engine,trans,clutch,wiring,tires,breaks,fron/rear caps,genset,has all tanks)new or rebuilt.thanks for the ionfo guys. |

christoper,the "57" has air intake up high on the rear of the bus, the 54 has it in the center of the rear.hope this helps! 57 was the only year it was installed like that. |

Yes I am sure it's a 1954 PD4104 by the serial/VIN number. I have a Motor Coach Age history book about Missouri Pacific Transportation and it list PD4104-1210 through 1219 as being a 41 passenger coach and a 1954 model. 1957 PD4104 started with serial numbers 1966 through 3070. jlv |
