Noticed some fellows have the ability to inform people of the intial delivery location for their GMC and/or MCI coaches. I realize that the majority of the Eagles were made for Trailways, but does anyone have a database of delivery destinations?

the eagle busnuts yahoo group has a downloadable file with most of the VINs in there. from what I remember though, they use the number off the builders plate above the driver window. ie: mine is 30223.

FWIW....

What about an Eagle bus that has been retitled after its conversion? Do they keep the origianl VIN #? Is there a way to locate the original VIN# of the bus? Would it be stamped somewhere on the frame?

My Eagle VIN# is on the plate in the drivers area and on the right bottom corner of the frame of the engine compartment like Bob's. If the old number has been cut off of your Eagle and the VIN was changed to a 17 digit number contact the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicle) in the state were it was changed or your DMV. They can do a title search for you (cost $10-20)and the original VIN# will show up on the written report you get.

Hit the enter key to quick on my keyboard. This site has the Eagle production records. You will have to register for this yahoo group. When the group screen comes up on the left side of screen click on "Files" Then on the next screen click on "Eagle Production Records" They are listed in numerical order. Enjoy!
