Mine started leaking oil and it was coming out at the joints up stream of the turbo.

Black smoke is likely excess fuel for whatever reason. Turbo seal failure usually makes a lot of light smoke.
Excess fuel will leak out of exhaust manifolds and joints. Look under the exhaust manifolds and see if you see anything leaking from the manifold/head mounting area...may just be one cylinder.
You could also use an infrared temp gun and see if all cylinders are operating at about the same temp. Be suspect of any cylinder (s) that is cooler than than the others.
Be sure your emergency shutdown is functional. You may need it. If the turbo or blower is leaking oil, that is fuel as far as the engine is concerned.
Your pix looks like the curb side cylinders may be where the excess is originating. Cannot see the street side connector?? Is there wet stuff leaking from the street side connector?

Thanks for the information on the turbo we found a mechanic that has said he thinks the seals are leaking but have not had time to come by yet
