Hi folks,

Details for this year-end's Bussin' 2007! are now online at BNO, at the following link:

www.busnut.com/bussin2007

All the details are up to date and there are registration forms in both MS Word and Adobe Reader which you can print out, fill in and send to Jack & Paula.

The highlight this year is the new location at the Turner Agri Civic Center, just minutes east of the former location at event sponsor Horizon Coach.

So, don't hesitate, get those registrations sent in to the Conrads and you'll be in for a great weekend of fun and camaraderie.

Enjoy :~)

While it is always fun for the bus owners to have a low cost weekend of visiting,

The BEST use of THIS gathering is for fledgling bus nuts to actually SEE and VISIT a hundred or more versions of "My Way" , and learn some of the hundreds and hundreds of different ways to make the choices that make your conversion Special ,Custom , just as YOU need it.

Do it "Your Way" but instead of reinventing the wheel just look with you're Eyes OPEN!!

Fun , Educational and Cheap, a wannabee Bus nuts DREAM!!

Looks like a good time to be had and a lot to learn. Too bad it is just about as far away from us as it could possibly be. We just picked up our bus about a month ago and will start converting soon so it would be a good way to see what others have done. Is there anything a little closer to CA anytime during the year?

I hope everyone has fun and takes lots of pictures!

Nonsense , the price of a couple of cheap tickets on a Roach Coach will be well paid for in the Wheels you don't have to Invent.

Price out Kolledge Kredits at the local K-zoo and then figure what a 10 credit course would cost!!

Might be the deciding factor between a nice RV and a FINE! bus camper.

Dale -

Fast Fred's right - RT airfare & hotel is cheap compared to the priceless info you can gather at Jack's Party. I don't have the time to drive, but I'm flying in from CA!

But, to answer your question, Dave Gregory and crew host a similar gathering in OR in the summer, called "Bussin USA".

In addition, several of the bus-oriented FMCA chapters hold regional rallys throughout the year, where you can also mingle with other busnuts. Bus-oriented chapters can be found in the FMCA mag's January issue. You don't have to be a member to receive the mag, but consider it.

Visiting a bus ralley should be considered mandatory before converting (attempting to convert) a bus.
I wish I'd gone and looked around before building "practice bus"...I would have done some things, things that cannot be easily undone, differently.
Dave Galey and George Myers' conversion books and MAK's "Bus Conversion Mag" can save a good bit of grief too.
You won't believe what can be screwed up when "re-inventing the wheel!"
Best, JR
