On the MT 644 Allision which line is the pressure line? Coming out of the top of tranny or is it the side line? I want to install a cooler before the engine cooler.
Thanks
C Ray

Not sure about a 644, but on our 740 the fluid leaves the transmission from the fitting on top driver's side near the bell housing end of the transmission near the transmission temperature sender.
We installed a Hayden cooler in the engine compartment side door on the passenger side. We ran the hoses so that the fluid from the transmission enters the top of the
Hayden cooler, leaves the bottom of the Hayden cooler, goes to OEM cooler, and then returns to the transmission. We have found that all temperatures (Oil, Transmission, Right & Left Clyinder Heads) run about 10 degrees cooler. Email me if you want additional information on the installation. Jack

In looking at the 644 today I found these letters embossed on housing at the top cooler hose fitting. TOC
Anyone know what this means?
Maybe "to cooler"?
Thanks,
C Ray
