where can i get a pair of air bags and are they hard to replace? also a good idea to keep my engine warm for cold morning start up. I am trying to do this as a temp measure to get bus home from michigan to california and will be able to install a nice heating system when i get her home. also can someone explain to me why straight 40w oil is better for this 671 than multi weight 15w40?

Because the mfg have done lots (DECADES)of testing and 40 wt keeps the engine alive , and 15-40 wont.

Search the DD site to read of disasters.

US Coach , will ship the air bags same day as getting the order.

They will also have a 120v block heater that makes a DD start at 0F like it was summer in Miami Beach.

Here's some good reading about oil for the Detroit engine.

As far as air bags, yup, talk to Luke. If the bags haven't been changed in the last several years...get new hardware for the bags also. You'll need it!

good time to install the airbeam blockoff plates if it doesn't already have them, as the beams will start to leak eventually. Now is the time to install them. BTW, the air bags are much easier to replace with the wheels removed. Use new bolts with antiseize on the threads.
