We are converting an MCI 102A3. Is there any way we can use a 2500 watt inverter that is 12 volt? The bus is 24 volt.

Les,
While there are several ways you could use the 12 volt inverter they all have dissadvantages and the best solution is to somehow swap it for a 24 volt. All ways to use it require that your house battery be 12 volt. The differences are how you charge the house battery from the coach engine. One way is a seperate 12 volt alternator powered by the engine. Another is use an equalizer and 12 volt tap on the coach battery that is connected to the house battery when the engine is running. Just out of curiosity what model inverter is it? If it's anything but a Trace SW2512 I'd sure swap it for a 24 volt unit but it may be quite easy to sell an SW2512 since they are discontinued.
