I have a 1969 Superior on a GM chasis with leaf spring suspension. When I tried to drive it up my new home's driveway, the rear scraped the road. I needed to put a railroad tie under the rear wheels to raise it enough to drive it up. Any suggestions for a system (air, hydraulic,or) to raise the rear about 6 inches at the wheels to get it up and down the driveway. It's really unpleasant to use this way! |

If you have a power steering pump , maybe you could use hydralic rams. |

Have you tried backing in? It sometimes does make a difference. Peter. |

Another thought is to add some really large industrial caster wheels to the very rear edge of the chassis rails. Seen frequently on FSSG rigs with long overhangs. RJ |
