Has anyone tried Alucobond for bus re-siding.
I read a little while ago where someone was doing this, I can't remember where it was. " Alucobond material is an aluminum composit material composed of two strong sheets of .020" (normal) aluminum with a proprietary polyethylene core.
expands 1/8" per 8 feet."
sure makes for a smooth side. less noise, lighter than thicker alum.

You can buy Alucabond from sign supply warehouses. We use it to make lighted signs.
