Hello Everyone Again,
Well I finally am done posting my photos of the 2007 Arcadia bus rally photos for all to view if you wish. This is the (“Bussin 2007) bus rally held by Jack & Paula Conrad held at Arcadia, FL.

I have been working for 2 days now to get a new program working to do my photos the way I wanted some time ago but I had such a darn time trying to get it to do what I wanted instead of how it is probably programmed I had to resort to my original way of presenting my albums as in the past. Today my Laptop almost became a separated two piece computer but my wife reminded me of the $2400 investment sooooooooo I straightened up and here I am.

I have made (27 albums) of the Arcadia Bus Rally and have tried to separate the buses in models to make finding your bus easier and also some people in other buses do not want to look at anything other than their favorite models anyhow. The only thing about that is I am not that completely versed in knowing all the bus models so I may have made some mistakes and put your bus in the wrong album but give me a break on this as I have been working over 36 straight hours with little sleep in between and at one time was very stressed, TODAY for sure!!

When you go to my web site, the Arcadia bus rally photo albums will all have the heading of (“Arcadia 2007, Eagle”) or RTS etc. All the albums with the beginning heading of “Arcadia 2007” are the newest albums and there are 27 of them as I said and the first one's to open up. I tried to limit putting no more than 30 photos in one album so you will not get bored and want to leave etc. you can continue when you come back or on a rainy day etc. where you left off but mark down on paper where you ended.

There may also be some duplicate photos in some of these albums, I am too tired to go through over 600 photos and sort any more out. I have had it today!!

Those of you that attended our rally know of the fun we had and hope to encourage everyone not attending to do so next year or any rally you can this year coming very, very fast also.

I hope I got everyone’s rig photographed, I tried my best to do so and cover some of the seminars and other things but man it was a lot of work to try to do. So please forgive me if I missed your bus it sure was not intentional and also there is duplicates of some I took as I forgot at times where I left off.

I hope you enjoy these photos, Gumpy sure had some great ones also. My web site has a total of (87 albums) to view but the latest ones should have a red flag so you will not get bored looking and the flag says (NEW).

Thanks for allowing me to take these photos of you all there, I know I was a menace at times but maybe you will enjoy thinking back, Oh yea, I remember that.

Many thanks to you for all of your efforts to prepare these photo galleries. It does a stupid newbie good to see what his schedule cheated him out of. I'm sure it's not like being there, but it's the next best thing.

Thanks

THANK YOU GARY !!!!!
I have reached a milestone thanks to Gary. My wife actually sat with me and watched most of the pictures with me.I think maybe Im wearing on her. This IS important stuff.
I am wondering though, Both my wife and I are craving for interior ideas. the majority of the pics are of the outside of the coaches. I hope is is not safe to assume that most converters don't like sharing their interiors.

Doug,
Most owners are glad to show the inside of their buses, if they are at their bus when the photos are being taken. Also it is often difficult to get good photos of the interior due to the small area inside a bus.
I think Gary was pretty busy all days of the rally just getting the outside photos. Jack

Doug, go to Gary's photo albums and look under "Timmonsville" rally photos and you'll find several interior pix to compare...there's an Itasca MH in there too. Gary did a "photo op" of most of the busses at T'ville.
When we sorted out our interior ideas, such that they are, we used RV interiors for a general idea.
Thanks again Gary for all the work in loading the pix of Arcadia...BIG job and very well done!
Cheers, JR

BW - Bill is partly correct - He thoughtfully parked me out side of the range of even high powered lenses - BTW everyone missed you this year and all lamented your absence even though the great weather showed up in spite of your not being here -

P.S. thanks again Jack and Paula - and Gary for the pics

UH Excuse me....Mr. GOT MILK, but that was ME that parked you if you remember correctly and I parked you far away from the "nice" couple in the 4104. I just couldn't bring myself to do that much harm to them!

What the heck is that smell? It just never seems to go away!

Thanks for all the kind word about the photos submitted for you all to see. I only wish I could of taken more time to shoot some of the insides of these buses but man there was over 170 of them, owners were all over the lot and that takes a lot of time. I do take the time to photograph inside buses at smaller Rally's such as JR has indicated and even then it takes a lot of time, I let the owners know I am coming most of the time and they get their beds all made etc. but at a big rally, too much going on and the owners want to PARTY and I sure do not blame them. Everyone is trying to attend seminars, use all the vendors products or get information on bussin for fulltimers or anyone for that fact, but lots is going on at Jack & Paula's party. Our friends from the state of Washington really had the best time at Arcadia this year and want to try and attend again next year because of the goings on and the reception they received as well.

Attending a smaller rally such as Timmonsville, or the Delaware Partying Bash at Bruceknee's rally is really recommended, it is more personal and relaxed and slower paced for sure. The big one's like Arcadia are rewarding and fun, lots of walking to see all if that is what you want to do, but smaller one's more personal for sure. Don't waste time deciding, get the dates of them all, large or small and make reservations for power & hookups and come on down.

If you walk around at the larger rally's like Jacks at Arcadia, most owners if you catch them at their rigs will gladly let you enter their bus and be proud to show their workmanship, me being the photographer and exposing their bus to millions is a different story. Most everyone knows who I am now for sure, if I got confused where I left off some of them watched me and pointed to the coach I did not photograph, thanks for that one also guys. One guy even wanted to know if I took a photo of the inside of the outhouses?? Can you imagine!! Yep, I did but did not post them. Only kidding on this. I am dangerous with a camera I am told.

You don't need a fancy coach or even a bus to come, my (S&S RV) is becoming more recognizable than my Eagle?? Haha, no one seen my Eagle yet!! Bring your RV, Camper anything you can sleep in comfortably or rent a nearby motel or cabin, we have done that also but don't waste time, come out and joing us and meet everyone you read about on these bulletin boards and see these buses in person. Oh, Bring Your Own Camera and get the photos I may not have had the time to take.

Geez, another long post!!

Just so long as there are no gates or sharp drop-offs to contend with during the intoxicating night, Ace and Bill, I don't care where you park me next year.

After all, I am a guest in your country, and I'll take what I am given.

I cannot explain the lack of gratitude from your local countrymans for allowing him a place to squat for a few days.

I can only apoligize for not being there to keep his behaviour both more thankful and more photogenic.

happy coaching!

Ace, sorry forgot it was you who parked me next to the hole .... errrr .... lake, and yes, we did finally get all the spilt milk back in the jug so to speak. I can guess who the "nice people in the 4104" were.

BW, It was hard to get Jack to accept my registration this year. He kept asking who my "chaperone " was. I said it was you (I lied) and I forgot that you had published your regrets online (Doh!). I was able to bribe Dick Wolfert (aka Superman) into vouching for me for this year, but I don't think Dick will do it again next year (can't figure why) so you better be here for 2008.

Bill, glad you made it down there, you'll have to tell me the particulars sometime - Did Grimm's give you the inside deal on the "free" crab mallet?

New Year's 2008.

buswarrior to be in Arcadia Florida, providing parole officer duties for Niles.

Good thing for Dick, eh? He's a good head, he'll vouch for you again, but you have to bring a plentiful supply of firewood.

Can a foreign national in a home partially converted coach loaded up with Molson Canadian legally take on responsibilites for a Floridian with a well stocked bar on a factory converted coach at a rented commercial venue in the middle of Florida?

Best to check the fine print in the statutes.

Fear not, I will return.

happy coaching!

What kind of a misdemeanor or capital crime is this?

Maybe no parole at all by next New Year's?

I knew I should have been there to help...err, keep Niles out of trouble.

happy coaching!
