A while back, someone posted about the Harbor Freight plastic welder, and that it was the same as the expensive one, except to buy the " speed tip " at about $80.00. Could someone indicate where this can be ordered, preferably by internet, and which exact tip I would need? Thanks. |

John, you building tanks? I used a liquid plastic weld, operates through capliary action....tanks are 6 years old now no problems. |

No not building tanks, but need to weld some plastic components, that another person was supposed to do for me that can't get around to-so.... I'll do it myself, and gain experience to build a tank,s if I ever need them for something. |

Try Craig Shepards website, WWW.Gumpydog.com He has a very informative section on plastic welders/welding. He built his own tanks and saved the info for us. Great site. Ed |

this stuff I am talking about is called Weld It......should work for your parts welding too...comes in different consistancies |
