Lets try it this way...Are there others out there that need the upper deck windows to a 4501 so that we can cut the cost of the form fee's? the more windows we get...the cheaper it is.. Any Takers? Pete | ||

Pete, I don't have a 4501 yet, so I don't know if or when I'll need the glass. But I was wondering what prices you were quoted on upper and lower winshields. It could be helpful in a negotiation. | ||

They wont give a full quote over the phone, They need to see it but the form charge is about $1000 to $1200 ...The window is aprox 375.00 to 550.00 I'm scared to death to take the broken one out..take it down there and have it be more..I've been out of work for 3 years with a bad back...not much of a chance that I'll be working agasin in this line of work..and im still a mess...so my buget is low...unless it snows...than ill plow my ars off and buy what i can  The front windsheild was 385.00 shipped from Bent Glass in Conn. i got their last one..BUT...the front windsheild of a 4501 will fit other GMC bus's...you just have to check the model nunmbers.. Ron..I'm going down there tommorrow..im going to get the low down..and take my factory book with me..maybe that will shed a bit of lite on it.. Pete | ||

JJ - The Scenicruiser's upper deck front windshields are quite a bit larger than those found on the 4905. RJ PD4106-2784 Fresno CA | ||

Thanks Pete & RJ. My left one is a bit cloudy all over (some of it might be paint overspray, and the right one is a bit fuzzy in the corners. The neighbor kid got a new slingshot, so I worry about he big bask window that faces his house. ...JJ |
