Does anyone here KNOW if a 1999 automatic trans 4x4 Navigator can be towed 4 down? Or if not, what mods would be needed. Mom's thinking of trading cars. Jim-Bob |

Try this website. http://www.towingworld.com/DinghyGuide06.pdf Or try your automobile dealership, Ford publishes info on their trucks, so I assume Lincoln does too. If it's shiift on the fly, probably not since it doesn't have a neutral position. If it is a floor shift lever with a neutral position then it probably will be towable. That is the way the F 150's are. Ed |

Well, mom bought the car. Turns out it's full time 4x4. I guess it would need 2 driveshaft disconnects. Thanks Ed J., but there is no mention of Lincolns or any big vehicle in the article. Jim-Bob |
