Does anyone know the difference between the "Sealed Standard" and "Splashproof Standard" ECU models? I bought a htb-748 a few years back and I'm finally ready to install it.
Unfortunately my manuals and the cables that came with it are for the "Splashproof" version and the box appears to be a "Sealed Standard."

The manuals available on Allison's site show the "Splashproof" (which I have) but the only listing for the "Sealed Standard" indicate it is for the 731. Does the "Sealed Standard" support the 748 or only the 731? If it supports the 748 I need to find a wiring source so I can rewire the cables.

Thanks, Wayne

Wayne, These people have everything you need at a huge savings vrs DD or Allison costs. They also can give you all the tech support you need. I think the 748 and the 731 work the same as the codes are the same on both. Call General Diesel Electronics at 218-262-4553. Randy has helped me in the past and it was all very good and saved me a ton of money. Think they are in Mn.
