Don't know about that bag but I bought a Peterbilt unit yesterday for $115 with base and new center bolt. Get a part number and shop around. Firestone is one of the more common manufactures. |

You'll have to provide the correct part numbers, but I've been told that they're the cheapest, fastest, and most reliable. http://www.mohawkmfg.com/ |

Ballpark, just count on $100/ea. They won't be widely different from that number. |

I bought mine from Luke last fall. The bags were 90.30, the rings were 12.75/pair and the bolt kit was 13.20...so, 116.25 per bag with new rings and bolts, which you should replace since you're in there already. The bags were Firestone I think. |

Jerry, don't you have single airbags on the steer axle? If so (??), you don't need anything but the airbags. No rings or other items...other than you may want to replace the fittings and airbag retaining nuts (3 on each side). Your airbags are easy to replace. My MC9 has single bags on each side of the steer axle. The early MC9/96A3 had two airbags on each side of the steering axle...those were airbeam systems. Had a row of hard to access nuts around the top. The newer rolling lobe singles are held in place with two stud/nuts on top and one stud on the bottom. If you install a valve to isolate the airbags from the bus air system, your bus will stay up...and you'll have a rudimentary leveling system. Start spraying the shock mount studs with PB Blaster...and the old airbag nuts. Won't matter if you break off the old airbag studs. Call me if you want some help. If you have dual sided steer axle airbags....you have my condolences! If you have dual airbags, make sure (I'll assume you are repairing a leak) that the problem isn't in the airbeams. Plating over those items would be a cool idea. That complete kit is about $500 bucks for bags and blockoff plates. Cheers, JR |
